The following version of the Carpathia Jäger bylaws was accepted at the January 2011 Jäger meeting.

1. To be a member of the Carpathia Jäger Group a person must be a member in good standing of the Carpathia Club.
   
2. The membership of the Carpathia Jäger consists of three groups:
   
  Active: Members that attend at least half of the meetings, competition shoots, or hunts
  Passive: Members that pay their dues, but do not take part in meetings, shoots, or hunts
  Youth: Members between the ages of 12 to 17. At age 18 they are entitled to become normal (Active or Passive) members. Youth members are eligible to compete at shooting competitions (under the supervision of an adult), but are not eligible to win one of the positions awarded at the annual King Shoot.
   
3. A prospective member must be nominated by an existing member, and then voted upon by the group. Approval requires a simple majority.
   
4. A new member has 90 days to obtain a Jäger uniform and a firearm or bow. This is mandatory for all Jäger
   
5. Yearly dues are $30.00 per member.  Youth members pay dues equal to one half the dues of a regular member. Members over the age of 75 with 5 or more years of seniority in the Jäger are considered life members and pay no dues.
   
6. Dues must be paid by March 1st. If not paid by 4 weeks after the deadline, the delinquency will be brought up at the next meeting for action (dismissal from the group).
   
7. The Jäger group meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at Carpathia Club. The meeting time or location can be changed due to special circumstances (holidays, etc.) by majority agreement of the members at the prior month's meeting.
   
8. The meetings will be held in English.
   
9. At any meeting a quorum of at least one third of the Active members is necessary in order to make any decisions.
   
10. Only Active members can make decisions regarding hunting and shooting.
   
11. The administration of the Jäger group is by the Jäger board (Vorstand), consisting of the following positions:
           One President (Oberjäger)
           One Vice President (Stellvertreter Oberjäger)
           One Secretary (Schriftführer)
           One Treasurer (Schatzmeister)
           One Scorekeeper (Shießmeister)
           Two Event Chairmen (Vergnuegungs Obmann)
           Two Hunt Leaders (Jagd Führer)
  The President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer all serve two year terms, with the terms starting in the odd calendar years. All other offices serve one year terms.
   
12. Elections for positions on the Jäger board will be held at the January meeting. Each candidate is nominated (no second is required), and then asked if they accept the nomination. An election is held between all members accepting the nomination. The candidate with the largest number of votes is the winner. Incoming board member terms begin at the March meeting.
   
13. Only active members of the Carpathia Jäger Group may run for a Jäger board position. Only active members of the Carpathia Club may run for President or Vice President of the Jäger Group.
   
14. If the President is unable to complete his term, the Vice President will take over as President. Any other vacant position in the Jäger board will be filled by a special election. The replacement for any position will serve the remainder of the term of the vacated office.
   
15. The President and Treasurer are authorized to sign checks.
   
16. Every youth member has the right to take part in all shooting and hunting competitions, but must have a guardian (who is a Jäger) present.
   
17. Flowers are to be sent for the death of any active, passive, or youth Jäger, and upon the death of the spouse, son, or daughter of any Jäger in good standing.   Flowers shall also be sent on the death of the spouse or minor child of any deceased Jäger who passed away while in good standing.
   
18. If requested, the Jäger shall appear in uniform to perform an honor march at the funeral home of any departed Jäger. This will only take place if the family of the Jäger grants permission.
